Home Share Openings

Do you have an available room in your home? Have you had bad experiences with renters?

We offer an alternative housing opportunity where you can enjoy making a difference in the lives of others!

If this sounds of interest to you, we invite you to apply with our agency! Access Resources is looking for Home Share Provider(s) in the Central Okanagan to support adults with developmental disabilities. We are a community support service agency based in Kelowna that has been serving youths and adults living with diverse abilities in the Okanagan since 1993. We believe in providing the best quality of care possible to people with unique needs and we want to work with you to achieve that goal!

To become a Home Share Provider, applicants must complete a Home Study approval process. Access Resources Home Share Coordinators are experienced and will be on hand to guide you through this process. The Home Study process includes a series of interviews, references, medical disclosure, a criminal record check and review of the home environment. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age, have their valid First Aid with CPR certificate, and have a valid driver's license.

Contact our office to talk to our Home Share Lead or Home Share Coordinators about opportunities within the Home Share Program and ask about an application package.
